Opportunity Overview
As a Home Inspector working with Upchurch Inspection, you’ll perform comprehensive residential inspections, clearly document your findings, and communicate results to clients in a friendly, professional manner. We’re looking for inspectors who value integrity, precision, and ongoing learning in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct residential home inspections according to InterNACHI standards of practice and applicable Arkansas guidelines
- Inspect major systems including structure, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, interiors, and exteriors
- Create detailed, high-quality digital inspection reports using modern reporting software
- Explain findings to clients in a clear, approachable way
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and uphold Upchurch Inspection’s strong reputation
- Stay up to date with building practices, safety protocols, and continuing education
- Represent the company with professionalism during client meetings and local real estate events
Required Qualifications
- Valid Home Inspector License in your state (Arkansas or surrounding state if applicable)
- InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) credential
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and manage your schedule efficiently
- Physically capable of accessing attics, crawlspaces, roofs, and tight or elevated areas
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in home inspections, construction, HVAC, roofing, electrical, or real estate
- Familiarity with inspection software and mobile reporting tools
- Strong customer service or client-facing communication skills
