Position Overview
As a Home Inspector with Upchurch Inspection, you will conduct comprehensive residential inspections, clearly document your findings, and communicate results to clients in a friendly and professional way. We value inspectors who are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to ongoing learning in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform residential home inspections according to InterNACHI standards of practice and Arkansas state guidelines
- Inspect major home systems including structure, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, interiors, and exteriors
- Produce clear, detailed digital inspection reports using modern inspection software
- Communicate findings to clients in an approachable, educational manner
- Maintain professionalism and uphold Upchurch Inspection’s reputation for honesty and quality
- Keep current with building practices, safety protocols, and continuing education requirements
- Represent the company professionally at client appointments and local real estate events
Required Qualifications
- Valid Arkansas Home Inspector License
- InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) credential
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Physically able to access attics, crawlspaces, roofs, and other tight or elevated areas
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in home inspections, construction, trades, or real estate
- Familiarity with inspection software and digital reporting tools
- Customer service or client-facing communication experience
